David Beckham has found himself at the centre of another cheating scandal - but this time the woman in question has gone on record saying that she HASN’T slept with the footballer. Wah? Let us explain…
The LA Galaxy midfielder has been named as the other man in a bizarre set of divorce papers filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.
In the legal papers, Beverly Hills mother-of-two and apparent friend of the Beckhams, Shery Shabani, claims that her husband of 12 years became obsessed with the idea she was having an affair with Golden Balls.
Kambiz 'Joseph' Shabani is alleged to have repeatedly accused Shery of cheating on him with the Becks, and on her birthday supposedly yelled in front of their children: “I know why you’re upset, it’s your birthday and you didn’t get a text message from David Beckham! Why don’t you ask him to send you a picture of his cock for your birthday you whore!”
Shery alleges that her husband became so enraged over the supposed affair he even tried to run the footballer off the road – and nearly succeeded in doing so.
She calls her estranged husband's shocking charges against her and the former England captain "irrelevant and untrue".
Though the allegations appear to be pretty baseless, we’re guessing this isn’t really what David wanted at the end of a week spent serving writs relating to tabloid allegations he cheated on wife Victoria with a prostitute.
Come to think of it, Victoria will no doubt be thrilled to have her husband's fidelity debated in public again too.
