Lindsay Lohan’s latest jail stint has turned into another lightening visit after the troubled actress was granted bail.
Within hours of the her being carted off to Lynwood jail in California, a judge reversed an earlier decision to deny her bail, following an appeal by the star’s attorney.
Judge Elden Fox had earlier remanded Lindsay in custody until her next hearing, scheduled for October 22.
This came after she tested positive for cocaine during a court-ordered drugs test stemming from an earlier DUI conviction.
The Mean Girl may be a free woman (for now) but she will be accessorising all her outfits with a SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet as part of her bail terms.
According to TMZ, Lindsay also has to stay away from known drug users (probably most of her friends, then) and anywhere where alcohol is the "chief item of sale” – which means no more clubbing for the normally hard-partying actress.
