American Idol Gets TWO New Judges

It's official! Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler will be on judging duties on the next series of American Idol.

Host Ryan Seacrest announced the new additions during a live webcast today following months of speculation over who would replace departing judges Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres.


The new AI judging panel line up, announced today

Both stars were hotly tipped for the job, with Tyler commenting back in August that he would “probably” be an Idol judge.

It’s rumoured that Lopez will be receiving $12 million for helping make or break the pop star dreams of this year's hopefuls, while Tyler will bag a reported $18 million.
