Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanour charges: drug possession and lying to a police officer.
The star, who was caught with cocaine in her bag last month whilst holidaying in Las Vegas, pleaded guilty as part of a plea bargain so that she would avoid jail time.
However, RadarOnline reports that the star was given a one year suspended sentence, a $2,000 fine and ordered to serve 200 hours of community service for a non-profit organisation.
Paris, who got caught out by Twitter, has been ordered by the judge to attend a substance abuse programme.
A source close to Paris said: “Paris is taking responsibility for what happened...she knows if she violates probation, she will be doing one year in the Clark County jail.”
Let's hope Paris actually listens this time instead of believing that the law doesn't apply to her.
