Lindsay Lohan could be heading directly back to jail after failing a court-ordered drug test.
The troubled actress – who must submit to random drug testing according to the terms of her probation – tested positive for cocaine in at least one of two failed tests, reports TMZ.
Lindsay was released from rehab last month after serving almost two weeks in jail for violating probation in a DUI case. Although no new hearing has yet been set in response to this development, each failed test carries a 30-day jail term.
The news comes days after Lindsay was spotted back on the club scene in New York.

After initially insisting that the allegations were “nuts”, Lindsay took to Twitter on Friday to ‘fess up to her latest self-sabotage attempt:
She wrote: "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.
"Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.
"This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences.
"I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!"
Despite the confession, it seems Lindsay is still doing the equivalent of sticking her fingers in her ears and going "la la la" in the face of controversy - she looked as if she didn't have a care in the world as she left Magnolia restaurant with pals shortly after the news broke.
Not a good sign but what did you expect?
