Katy Perry has been spending a fair amount of time in the UK after falling for the charms of British comedian Russell Brand and now the singer has revealed her plans for the future.

The couple are set to tie the knot by the end of the year and on becoming Mrs Brand, Katy has revealed that she intends to apply for dual citizenship.

The Teenage Dream star told the Sun: "When I get married next month, one of the first things I'll do is apply for dual citizenship

"I'm not too sure if I have to take a test as I've not had time to look into it. But England is like my second home."
