We're not the only ones who've had questions about the sexuality of Cheryl Cole's new boy toy, Derek Hough but it looks as though the rumours have been cleared up by his former Dancing With The Stars partner, Nicole Scherzinger.

The Pussycat Dolls star was asked by Perez Hilton if Cheryl and Derek were just good friends as the dancer actually prefers men, to which she replied: "No, no - he loves the ladies. He went out with Shannon Elizabeth."

We're still not convinced by the relationship. Will the pair come out of the closet (so to speak) once Cheryl's divorce from Ashley Cole is finalised?
