After having to go through the ordeal of finding out her husband cheated on her, Elin Nordegren can finally start a new chapter of her life now that her divorce from Tiger Woods has been finalised.

Having not been able to put a gagging order on Elin, Tiger's ex wife has given her first interview to People magazine.

In the interview, the first since TigerGate, Elin spoke of how she feels now and how, despite her husband's cheating, she feels stronger than she ever has.

“I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children.

“I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself."

So what does the future hold for the former Mrs Woods and her two adorable kids?

“My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal.”
