First Katy Perry was at it and now her fiance Russell Brand has got in on the act. The couple just can't get enough of Sesame Street's Elmo!

On a trip to the Sesame Street studios earlier this year, Katy tweeted a photo of herself with the red puppet, adding the caption: “Sunny day today! I think I'm in lurv... Sorry @rustyrockets!!!"

Just a few months on and Russell has got his hands on Elmo's furry bits on the street in New York City.

Russell tweeted the photo with the caption: "He started it. He tickled me."

However it started, it's clear that Elmo has wooed both Katy and Russell with his charms. Will we be seeing him in the wedding party?!
