Cheryl Cole has been spotted out for the first time since she was diagnosed with the potentially fatal disease, malaria.

The 3 Words star popped out to a nearby Starbucks for just 15 minutes to get a Frappuccino and although she looked pale and thin it is clear that the star is on the mend. Phew!

The singer wore a white jumper, jeans and flip flops and was driven to the coffee shop near Guilford.

A source told the : "Her driver was at her side every step of the way.

"She spoke to the manager and the staff, who seemed to know her pretty well.

"She only spent a few minutes inside. While there she signed an Aids petition and put money in a Help for Heroes charity tin."

A spokesperson for the singer said last night: "She will not be going back to work for a few weeks, but everyone is pleased she's up and about."

We're pleased to see that Cheryl is on the mend at last!
