Lindsay Lohan has obviously been doing some serious thinking whilst in the slammer as she's asked to have some time with her family before entering rehab on her release.

The Mean Girls star is currently in jail for violating the terms of her probabtion for a DUI case and according to People maagzine is distressed at the thought of leaving prison and going straight to a rehabilitation centre without having any time with her family.

The 24-year-old's lawyer told the magazine: “She’s a little upset right now. She'd like to spend some time with her family, and there’s at least some question as to whether or not she’ll have to go directly to rehab."

She added: "I think it would only be fair for her to spend some time with her family and that’s what she’d like for me to emphasise to judge."
