It has been reported that Rihanna is set to follow in the footsteps of some of her fellow musicians by turning her hand to acting!

According to reports, Rihanna is set to star in Battleship which will also star Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and the gorgeous Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood fame.

Variety.com has claimed that the movie ““takes place across the seas, the skies and over land in a battle for planet survival against a superior force.”

The movie is set to be released on May 25, 2012 and we're interested to see what role Rihanna will play.
