We were shocked this morning when we saw bloodied and bruised photos of our favourite vampire, Robert Pattinson!

But fear not RPatz fans, the actor hasn't been beaten up fo real! Some clever make-up was applied to his face to make him look a sorry state for a photoshoot for his new movie, Water For Elephants.

Rob and his co-star, Reese Witherspoon both took part in the photoshoot for what will possibly be promotional shots for the movie.

It's not the first time we've seen Rob get bloodied up for a movie, in fact earlier this year the actor sported a cut lip and black eye for Remember Me. He just can't keep out of the wars!
