The beautiful actress met Javier on the set of Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2007 and have married in a private ceremony in the Bahamas.
The couple wed in front of a small number of friends and family at a friend's house on the tropical islands earlier this month and have managed to keep it secret until now.
The happy news was confirmed by a spokesperson who also revealed that the actress wore a dress designed specially for her by John Galliano.
