This morning we reported that Peter Andre had collapsed during his morning run, suffering from extreme chest pains.

Although the singer first feared he was suffering from a heart attack it was revealed that he had in fact torn the muscles in his chest. Not life threatening but incredibly painful.

Now it has been announced that on doctor's orders, Pete has had to cancel some of his upcoming work commitments.

A statement on the singer's official website said: "Following Peter being taken ill yesterday, he will continue to undertake his work commitments as normally as he can, but he has been advised not to fly for a few days and therefore we sadly have to cancel the signing at Easons in Dublin this Saturday.

"Peter is very sorry to have to cancel, but he will reschedule as soon as possible."
