Tiger Woods in the the process of getting a divorce from his estranged wife, Elin Nordegren after he was exposed for having flings with numerous women.

And now the golfer has spoken out about how the experiencne and the death of his father help put things into perspective

According to the Sun, he said: "There are times in one's life when things get put into perspective.

"One being when my father passed and another what I've been going through lately."

Tiger spoke to the press after playing in the JP McManus Pro-Am contest at Adare Manor in Limerick, Ireland.

He is set to play in the Open at St Andrews, Scotland, next week but revealed that he plans to head back to the US first, adding: "I need to get home to see my kids."
