It looks as though we won’t be hearing the pitter patter of tiny feet in the Cowell/Hussainy household.

The media mogul who is engaged to make up artist, Mezhagan Hussainy has revealed his concern that he may be too old to become a father.

Simon appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and said: “I worry about that because of my age, when I was younger my dad used to play soccer and games with me. I worry that If I was 68 (my child would be) 18." Simon talking to Oprah...

But even if Si could father a child, he admits that he wouldn’t have the patience to look after the little tot.

“If (Only) they could be born aged 5.”  

Ahh well, It would have been interesting to see a mini Simon…
