When The Saturdays’ Frankie Sandford and McFly’s Dougie Poynter split earlier this year we were in shock.

The two were the cutest pop couple we could have asked for and seemed to be very happy together.

However, they parted ways blaming their hectic work schedules. But the split didn’t last long and just 6 weeks later the couple reunited and now it looks like a wedding could be on the cards!

According to the Daily Star, the pair are planning to get engaged “any day” and will marry before Christmas.

A source told the newspaper: "They split up because their hectic schedules meant they were finding it hard to find time to see each other. But while they were apart they spent most of the time on the phone to each other. They realised they can't live apart any longer."

The source added: "They plan to get engaged and hope to be married before Christmas. They are determined not to let work get in the way."
