We never thought that 48-year-old heartthrob, George Clooney would need something to comfort him whilst he travelled.

But according to DigitalSpy, the actor travels with a “security blanket!”

It has been reported that George asked maids in Hawaii to lay the cashmere blanket on top of his bed every day whilst he was filming his new movie, The Descendents.

A maid at the Kahala Hotel in Honolulu told the Daily Star: "We had to lay it on top of his sheets when we turned down his bed.

"It was pretty funny. It looked a lot like a security blanket. George left it in his room when he checked out and we had to send it to his next address. He obviously can't sleep without it."
