Robert Pattinson Playing Kurt Cobain Would Be 'Stupid' Says Courtney Love

You may remember that last week the rumour that Robert Pattinson was set to play Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain was all over the news.

But Nirvana fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Kurt’s widow, Courtney Love has slammed the idea, calling it ‘stupid’.

Courtney didn’t stop there either and according to Heatworld, ranted about the rumour saying “Who would cast him?

“That’s just wrong, no offense. It’s silly.”

So who would Courtney like to play her late husband? Apparently she thinks Ryan Gosling or James McAvoy would be better fits for the role but wouldn’t want to watch a film about Kurt as it would be ‘too difficult’.
