Nicolette Sheridan is suing Desperate Houewives boss, Marc Cherry for more than $20 million after she claims he assaulted her on set.
The actress is suing the series creator for assault, battery, gender vioence and wrongful termination, claiming he hit her head and face.
According to GossipCop, her lawsuit alleages that on 24 September 2008, Sheridan asked Cherry about a line in the script and he “took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.”
The papers claim that Cherry followed her as she rushed off to her trailer, to 'beg forgiveness'. The lawsuit adds that Cherry had been “behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner toward the individuals who work on the show” long before the incident with Nicolette occurred.
Nicolette also claims that she reported the incident to ABC (who are also named in the lawsuit) but found her popular character Edie Britt was killed off in retaliation.
Eek. Looks like this time there is real life drama in the world of Desperate Housewives!
