Gerard Butler knows he has a reputation for being a bit of ladies man and doesn't deny it either saying; "I'm certainly no angel. There's no smoke without fire."

But when it comes to recent rumours, it looks like Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston are simply co-stars who enjoyed working together.

Gerard told the Sun: "I went for her birthday to Mexico. We're just friends.
"We have a natural chemistry - you can see it in our magazine shoot and the film. We have a great time together."

So that's it then? We were so hoping for the pair to become a couple, they seem great together.

Never mind, looks like we'll have to channel our energies into a new Hollywood romance!
