We were all rocked last week when Take That's squeaky clean, Mark Owen, admitted to having ten affairs during his relationship with now wife, Emma.

But the 38-year-old is getting a second chance after Emma told him they owed it to their children to work through things.

A family friend told the Sun: "Emma will do absolutely anything for her beautiful children. Mark has been a complete idiot - which he openly admits - but it doesn't stop him being a brilliant dad.

"He dotes over those kids and Emma knows it. It's a long road ahead. But for the sake of their children, she will forgive him."

The singer has also checked into a rehab clinic after confessing that he ha a problem with alcohol, telling his wife he will stay there “indefinitely” to make sure he beats his addiciton.

The 33-year-old actress (no we had no idea either) is thought to be “heartbroken” after Mark's revelations.

A source told the Sun: "This will be the biggest test their marriage may ever have to endure. Emma wants so much to believe this could never happen again - she just needs time to heal and consider whether she can fully forgive.

"He begged her to give him time to prove he can give up drinking for ever. He said he might feel strong enough to come home after just one week, or it might take a month or more.

"He is doing everything to convince her he is worth staying with."

Let's hope he learns his lesson...
