Did anyone actually know that Victoria Beckham dated the late Corey Haim?!

Apparently the former Spice Girl and The Lost Boys star dated in 1995 before the girl band made the big time.

The sad news of Corey's death broke yesterday, with reports that the actor died at approximately 3am after collapsing in front of his mother in their apartment.

A source told the Sun: "Victoria hadn't had any contact with Corey for years but she was still shocked to learn of his death in such circumstances."

In 2008 VB spoke about her fling with the actor: “We didn't have sex or anything. In actual fact, he didn't seem to want to try. The most we did was kiss.

"Looking back it's hard to work out whether I really fancied him or if I was just a bit of a sad fan."

Los Angeles police have said they believe the star died of an apparent accidental overdose and sources added that four bottles of prescription pills were found near where the actor collapsed and died.

According to the Sun, Corey's mother Judy said the actor had moved back home to help her in her battle against breast cancer. She said: "Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I'm devastated by his death."
