We do have a little chuckle at what Lady Gaga deems acceptable to wear when she goes out, but she may have gone a little too far with one particular outfit.

According to the Sun, on a long haul flight from London to America, Lady Gaga decided that it was a good and comfortable idea to wear black and yellow tape with giant blue shoes...

Clever or what?!

But her outfit soon got whipped off by cabin staff (it must have stung a bit, having that tape removed...) because her feet began to swell, bringing on the early stages of deep vein thrombosis.

What ever happened to wearing a pair of trackies and a hoodie?

But c'mon, did we expect any less from the woman who told Jonathan Ross:

“I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything.”

We didn't think she meant it literally!

Let's just hope that Lady Gaga has learnt from this, and next time decides to wear something that won't harm her...
