Mariah Carey managed to get it wrong on the red carpet again at last night's Oscars but she did leaves tongues wagging after hinting that she might be pregnant.

The singer told waiting reporters that “something special” was about to happen but wouldn't let anything else slip.

The 39-year-old starred in the film, Precious, but was not nominated for an award, wore a plunging blue Valentino dress, which left little to the imagination.

There has been much speculation over Mariah's recent gain in weight and this latest hint may send the rumour mill into overdrive...
