We were disappointed to hear that one of our favourite musical couples have split up.

McFly's Dougie Poynter and The Satuirday's Frankie Sandford have ended their relationship, citing 'work commitments' as the reason.

But luckily for the pair, they each have a band surrounding them to keep their mind off the split.

The rest of McFly were determined to cheer Dougie up by taking him for a night on the tiles in London last night.

Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones took Dougie under their wings last night and the trio spent the night surrounded by a bevy of gorgeous girls in Bungalow 8.

The boys left the club at 3am, looking a little worse for wear but we're pretty sure Dougie won't be single for long.

Sadly, poor Frankie has had to leave Twitter for a while after some nasty fans sent her abusive messages, claiming the split was due to her flirting with notorious ladies man, Callum Best.

She posted: "I'm sorry to say but I'm taking a break from Twitter for a while. The abuse following untrue stories is just too much to take."

We wish both of them the best of luck in getting over their break-up.

If Dougie does this again he'll be surrounded by women in seconds!
