Naomi Campbell is known more these days, for her temper than her modelling and it looks like the hot-headed star is in trouble yet again.

Police were called by Naomi's chauffeur who claims the model punched and slapped him from the back seat of the car as he drove her through Manhattan.

The incident happened at 6pm last night (1pm local time) and afterwards, Naomi jumped out of the car and left the scene.

According to the Sun, a police statement said: "The driver said a small bruise and swelling under his right eye was caused by her. We want to talk to her."

The model has been charged with assault before, once for beating an assistant, another time for throwing a mobile phone at her maid and lastly for being abusive towards British Airways staff in 2008.

Latest reports suggest the driver has decided not to press charges and Naomi's spokesman, Jeff Raymond, said she would co-operate with the police, adding, "There is more to the story than meets the eye".
