Taylor Lautner has had to pull out of the upcoming production of Max Steel due to his packed working schedule.

Taylor left the cast of Northern Lights last week and again gave his busy schedule as the reason for pulling out.

According to Perez Hilton, insiders say Taylor dropped Max Steel so that he could devote his time and energy into Stretch Armstrong.

A source told Perez Hilton: "In the weeks after signing on to play Steel, Lautner became increasingly convinced that Hasbro was playing its hand better than Mattel.

"Thanks to WME, Hasbro was moving with far greater speed through Hollywood's development maze than Mattel, not only setting up projects, but quickly moving them forward."
