A coroner has made it clear that actress Brittany Murphy did not abuse illegal drugs or alcohol before she died at the end of last year.

It was also announced that the Clueless actresses weight was normal for her height and she was not anorexic.

Her death at her home in Hollywood in decemebr of last year, was ruled as accidental and the final reports said that the star was probably treating herself for a cold.

Her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, said the report vindicated him and Brittany's mother, Sharon, who both denied the 32-year-old had a drug problem or an eating disorder.

According to the Sun, he said: "The rumours can now stop as we grieve our loved one."
