Yep, you've read right, Lily Allen announced on Sky News that she has finally decided to hang up her mic on March 7th. After months of speculation over whether she was serious about giving music up for good.
The singer who gave us 'Smile' and embraced all things chav when she wore prom dresses with trainers, accessorised with gold hoop earings, is moving onto a new venture.

Our Lil will be working on Wayne Hemingway's vintage at Goodward project as well as her own range called Lucy In Disguise. 
“I'm helping Wayne out with this first of all and then I'm opening up a shop with my sister and a couple of other people and I'm really busy.”
But is this just a phase for Lily or will she make a go of it? Wayne Hemingway seems to think she'll go a long way:
“She's here to bring fashion back in. she's got a new business called Lucy in disguise, which is about vintage clothes democratising fashion...It's about bringing music and fashion back together.”
Well, we'll miss hearing your voice Lil but we wish you the best of luck for your new venture and can't wait to see your clothes!
