A recording has been revealed today which is believed to feature the moment paramedics broke the news of the King of Pop's death on 25 June last year.
A voice can be heard calling ahead to a hospital and could become new evidence in the trial of Michael's doctor Conrad Murray.
According to the Sun, the recording is believed to feature a Los Angeles Fire Department medical worker calling the UCLA hospital.
The voice says: "Patient is Michael Jackson, the pop star singer. No pulse, no breathing. Unresponsive. Tried to resuscitate him. Unsuccessful.
"We've done everything we can. We should be there in five minutes. It doesn't look good. It doesn't look good"
A spokesman for the LAFD said: "I couldn't confirm that is one of our workers. It could be. They refer to 'pop star Michael Jackson' but it is not our practice to name names."
The evidence on the tape contradicts the claims of Dr Murray who told the courts, the star was still warm and had a pulse when he found him and put him in the ambulance.
RIP Michael Jackson
Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was the seventh child of nine children to Joseph and Katherine Jackson and was born into a typical working class family. The city of Gary is 25 miles from downtown Chicago and is famous for its massive steel industry. It took its name from the chairman of U.S. Steel, Elbert H Gary, and is nicknamed 'City of Century' – we're hoping for ironic reasons. (Image: WENN.com)
