Remember when news and pictures broke showing Jessica Simpson looking a bit too curvy whilst performing in the US?

Due to the unflattering images, Jess's weight was shoved into the spotlight for everyone to ridicule and the result of that made Jess tell Allure magazine:

“I would not wish on my worst enemy what I went through.

“When I walk through an airport and people go, 'you're not fat' I'm like 'thanks. Thanks. That's great. Good to know I'm not fat today. Thank you.'”

Whilst on the subject of weight, Jess revealed that travelling the world has made her more aware about how the media expect women to look.

“When I think of America, its very diverse but we do have the cookie cutter way we're supposed to look and going to all these countries, its so completely different.”

And Jess's is particularly annoyed at her country, telling Allure magazine that the country's obsession with weight is “disgusting. ”

But Jess won't let that stop her, “My job is to be creative and I'm not weighing in for anybody.”
