Lauren Conrad has done it again! Her second novel Sweet Little Lies has topped the New York Times best seller list, just as her debut novel L.A. Candy did.

The reality TV star's second novel, from her 3 part book deal hit the shelves earlier this month and was, according to Lauren, a joy to write.

The star told People.com, "It's so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now."

Lauren has been on a gruelling book tour along the East Coast but was so pleased her fans had turned up to see her.

"I'm just so thankful to my fans. Everyone is coming out to see me in the snow," she says. "I just can't believe it."

Sweet Little Lies follows L.A. Candy's main character Jane Roberts, as she comes across some of the pitfalls of being a Hollywood celebrity.
