Lady Gaga has made no secret of her admiration of Britney Spears, admitting to having posters of the star on her bedroom wall when she was still just a struggling song writer.

Now, thanks to her father Joseph, the singer's dream to collaborate with the Oops I Did It Again star may be about to come true.

Lady Gaga showed her softer side by taking her father as her guest to the Grammy awards this month and whilst Gaga popped to spend a penny her bolshy dad walked stright up to Britney and told her his daughter is her biggest fan.

Instead of cringing and wishing for the floor to swallow her up, Gaga took the opportunity to see if she could hook up with the pop princess in the studio.

A source told the Sun that Gaga's dad, “introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.

The source added, “At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her Fame Monster tour.”
