The Brit awards will see its first Royal salute in its 30-year history this year, as Prince Harry wishes the ceremony a happy birthday.
The youngest pricnce, who is known for enjoying a good party will send a video message to the awards, but according to the Sun he is keen to be there and has even asked Army bosses for the day off.
"The Brits is a celebration of all that is totally outstanding and unique about British music" he said.
"But what's less well known about the Brits is the fantastic work it does raising millions of pounds for the Brit Trust." Harry lining up with the Brits is a clear sign he wants to be seen as an ambassador for UK music.
Music royalty attending will include, Cheryl Cole, Florence and the Machine, Kasabian, JLS, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga.
The awards will take place on Tuesday 16 February and will be shown live on ITV1 from 8pm.
