Lindsay Lohan has been papped as she headed out in her SUV with a bottle of prescription pills nestled in her handbag amongst her lady things.

Those close to the troubled 'actress' are concerned Li Lo may slip into her old, destructive ways.

In October, Lindsay's father Michael told the U.S. website Radar: "I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse, because it's not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.'

Michael Lohan doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to his daughter and well pretty much anything else but he is obviously worried that Lindsay may be in some trouble.

Recently, there seems to have been a spate of young and talented Hollywood residents passing away due to drug overdoses, so his concern is justified.

Let's hope Li Lo is simply trying to clear up an innocent bacterial infection and nothing more sinister than that!
