Brazilian model, Jesus Luz has called time on his relationship with the Queen of pop, Madonna.

According to a source who spoke to the Chicago Sun Times, the split was not amicable and it was Luz who initiated the break-up, blaming it on their age difference and busy work schedules.

Lack of mutual interests also played a part in the split.

Madonna and Luz met at a photo shoot for W magazine in December 2008 and started dating shortly after Madge divorced British husband, Guy Ritchie.

However, for Jesus, at least one good thing has come out of the relationship, his modelling career, which took off due to his association with Madonna.
