There seems to be a growing trend of artists making celebrity portraits out of unusual materials. There was the Michael Jackson pill photo and even a Cheryl Cole portrait made from cheese (we can't fiond it now but are pretty sure is wasn't a mental cheese dream).

Now Lady Gaga has been imortalised in the form of err...rubbish. The picture was made by 3D mosaic artist Jason Mecier and includes leftover Hello Kitty merchandise from Lady Gaga's photoshoot to help celebrate the famous white cat's 35th birthday last year.

It is also includes  poker chips,  broken sunglasses, rhinestones, recycled electronic parts and the head of a Kermit the Frog doll as a tribute to the bizarre Kermit dress Gaga memorably wore on German TV.

Let's just hope Miss Piggy doesn't see it. She would never recover...
