Britney Spears is reportedly still in contact with her ex-manager Sam Lufti. Lufti agreed to a restraining order in 2008, ordering him to stay away from the singer.

According to Heat, Lufti said: "Britney reached out to me a few weeks ago. She makes contact with me quite frequently. She pleads with me to help her and end the control her dad has over her life.

"She keeps asking me, 'When is this going to end?'. If she's out in public, she will use somebody's phone - sometimes the bodyguard's - to call me."

He continued to say: "She is not insane. She is lost. You have to understand, her parents have been in control of her life since she was a teenager. All she wants to do is free herself, to get away from [manager] Larry [Rudolph], her mum and her dad."

However, a source close to Britney was having none of it: "It's amazing that this guy has crawled out from under his rock again. He is a huge nightmare for Britney."

Fingers crossed Lufti is making this up to get press attention because Britney doesn't need someone like him in her life. We hope she has all the support she needs from her new beau, Jason Trawick.
