Moulin Rouge star Ewan MacGregor and funny man Jim Carrey shared a French kiss after they were honoured with the Order of Arts and Letters in Paris.

The pair look extremely dapper with Jim opting for a navy suit and Ewan is a well cut grey number.

The actors attended the ceremony at the Ministry of Culture and were awarded knighthoods in the respected National Order of Arts and Letters.

During the ceremony, Minister of Culture Frederic Mitterand reportedly declared, "I love you Jim Carrey! I love you Ewan McGregor!" It seems their charm is not lost on Ministers either...

The pair star in a new film called I Love You Phillip Morris which tells the story of two jailbirds who fall in love. The duo finished filming their on screen kisses last year but obviously felt the need to rekindle the magic in the city of love.
