The High School Musical heart-throb has been slated to play the lead role in upcoming film Fire.
Efron, who has left his Disney roots behind to pursue a more grown up film career, will be playing a CIA agent in the graphic novel adaptation.
And he'll do more than play the lead. According to E! News, he's listed as executive producer of the project as well.
