Appearing on the Ellen Degeneres show, Rihanna, who is no stranger to body art revealed that she has 13 tattoos on her body.

With the ink work appearing on her neck and back, US magazine reported that Rihanna told Ellen about her latest addition, which is a tattoo printed across her chest.

“It reads, 'never a failure always a lesson.' It's basically saying that it's OK to make a mistake, just don't make them twice.” The 21 year old star said.

Having the tattoo inked backwards might sound strange but for the umbrella singer, it means that she can read it “in the mirror to myself.”

The star who recently admitted that she was single, has spoken about reports claiming that she wanted to be in love by the age of 31. She told Degeneres, “I hope I am (in love by then). 31 is a decade away. I better be in love by then.”
