Rumour has it that Simon Cowell has already offered Lady Gaga the coveted spot of female judge on the US version of the X Factor.

According to msnbc.com this could spell bad news for ex American Idol judge Paula Abdul was was also rumoured to be up for the job.

A source close to the music mogul said : “There’s not room for both Paula and Lady Gaga. It would definitely be an either-or situation.”

There is no doubt that Gaga would make for great viewing but is she judge material? Expect to see strange head pieces, tea cups and see through clothing ahoy if she does get into the judging seat.
