Chace Crawford, star of hit teen series Gossip Girl, has been spotted getting close to model Jenny Akerman at a Hollywood bash.

The actor, who has been single since he split up with Carrie Underwood in 2008, may be back in the game.

A friend revealed that Chace and Jenny have "known each other for a while, but now it looks like they’re dating”.

The source told In Touch Weekly, “While it’s not serious yet, the pair is enjoying each other’s company.

 “Jennifer is adorable and exactly his type,”

Chace is currently filming the third series of the hit teen TV show in New York. Gossip Girl resumes on CW in March.
