Susan Boyle was confronted by a burglar inside her Scottish home last night, according to reports.
The 48-year-old singer had just returned from London with a friend when she found the man on the stairs.
According to the Sun newspaper, the unidentified man then ran past the Britain's Got Talent star and fled.

Police were called to Susan Boyle's home in Scotland.
A source said: “Susan is unharmed but is obviously very very shocked. The guy has seen her come in and bolted out straight past Susan."
It is understood that police were called to the property at around 9.50pm and later installed a panic alarm. A man is being held.
The incident came as Susan returned to Blackburn from London where she had been recording a charity single for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
The singer is one of a host of stars who will appear on the track, which has been organised by Simon Cowell and The Sun newspaper.
