Scarlet Johansson made her debut on the Broadway stage last night in an new version of Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge.
The play, at the Court Theatre in New York, sees Scarlet play the role of 17-year-old teenage orphan Catherine.
It's a role that some of Hollywood's biggest names, including Julia Roberts and Katie Holmes, have failed to win critics' praise in.
However, Scarlet's performance was different, with critics announcing her debut as “enchanting” and “assured".
All aspects of her usual glamorous look were no where to be seen as the star wore a brunette wig for the Arthur Miller play.
The Times' critic Ben Brantley commented: “Ms Johansson melts into her character so thoroughly that her nimbus of celebrity disappears.”
As well as a star studded cast, the audience also included stars such as Hugh Jackman, Naomi Watts and Zachary Quinto.
