Leona Lewis and Rod Stewart are being lined up to record a special charity single for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
The song, which is understood to be a cover of R.E.M's Everybody Hurts, is expected to be released as soon as possible.
JLS, Robbie Williams, Michael Bublé and George Michael have also been linked to the single, which is being organised by Simon Cowell.
Leona told The Sun: "You can definitely count me in. What happened in Haiti is absolutely heartbreaking."
Simon said: "I'd like to make this record with as many different types of singer as we can and I hope everyone in the industry comes together to get involved.
“The initial response has been fantastic."
As many as 200,000 people are feared dead in last week's earthquake in Haiti, which measured 7.0 on the Richter Scale.
All proceeds from the charity single will go to The Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z and U2 have also recorded their own song, while a global telethon is due to take place on MTV later today.
