Nick Jonas has played down reports he's rekindled his relationship with Selena Gomez.

The former couple, who split last year, reignited romance rumours when Selena was spotted at Nick's solo gig in Chicago earlier this month.

But in an interview with MTV, the Jonas brother ruled out the chances of the pair reuniting.

"I think that when it comes to things like that, I enjoy the show, I enjoy the time that we have together and let them do their thing and I'll do mine, I guess," he said.

Nick went on to admit that he wasn't “surprised” that her appearance had sparked reports in the US media.

He said: "The thing that's kind of funny to me is the fact that I'm still very young, and as far as a relationship, it's kind of young stuff, and people being interested in that is funny to me, but it's all good. It's flattering, and that's how you have to look at it."

Meanwhile, Nick Jonas' tour with his new band, The Administration, continued in Wisconsin last night.
