Well it seems as though Russell Brand and Katy Perry do lead separate lives as they both spent time apart in Los Angeles yesterday.

Whilst Russell headed for the gym dressed in his West Ham United shorts, bright green socks and trainers, his pop singer fiance was seen dining at Fred 62 restaurent.

Both stars had to battle the unseasonal weather with Katy choosing to keep herself dry with a large umbrella.

Russell on the other hand didn't seem too bothered about getting wet.

The couple met at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009 and have been unseperable since coming back from a New Year break in India, where Russell proposed.
